Snowflakes drift slowly to the ground,
Landing gently on the cold carpet of white,
Sun shines on the thick layer of smooth fluffy snow,
Black clouds wildly spread of the normally sea blue sky,
Fires crackle sending sparks flying,
Lit candles send a warm glow of light onto polished floorboards,
So easy to forget the coldness and beauty, of a winter evening.

Sunbeams slide smoothly over the frosty grass, glittering like diamonds, freshly polished,
Spiderwebs twinkle in the light like a water droplet - a rainbow of vibrant colours,
The crisp icy sheet of thin frozen water slowly melting into the soft earthy ground,
The fresh beginning, of a cold, sunny winter day.

Raindrops fall endlessly on my face,
Rolling down my cheeks like a leaf falling slowly to the ground,
The wind blows effortlessly making my heart soar on the breeze,
Like a waterfalls spray, defying gravity.

Upon my heart,
The great divide.

They speak of love,
Friendship of souls.
The small white dove
That never grows old.

Now with you gone
I feel my life end,
For I am alone
And I cannot mend.

The glass has shattered,
Its magic is fled.
The shards cut my hands,
And my lifeblood is bled.
